I do the ironing and I love it. There's something relaxing and satisfying when I see all those wrinkles smooth out. I think there's a life lesson in there somewhere. :)

I also do the ironing when absolutely necessary. I hope you don't plan to use that cover--it's entirely too pretty.

the few times something gets ironed it is by me. we bought a steamer that even my hubby uses so that works for me, it just means the iron and board only come out at a special occasion. you did a great job on the ironing board!
and all the best on your bathroom and living room project!

I do my ironing, Dick does his. Growing up, my job was to do sheets, pillow cases, PJ's, shirts, etc. I hated it back then but now...having learned at a young age how to iron, I can relax and actually daydream while ironing. I agree with Michael with the "life's lesson" in there somewhere. Could it be tolerance and patience? Hugs...

Your cover is amazing! I don't iron (Ed does and he could be quite obsessive about it if left to his own devices..lol) but I might think about it if I was looking at something like that! Wonderful!

This turned out cute...looking forward to starting mine! It's kind of nice that Randi wrote it out in one step, so I will try to do it all at once if I can ever find a few spare moments....sigh :)

I have replaced the cover on my husband's ironing board, but I noticed mine needs help. Yes, we have two. He is the ironing pro in the family. I only iron while sewing, so I have my own. Since he uses starch, my cover remains a bit cleaner.

Tracey

Very pretty!
We are a family that irons as needed and everyone does their own.

amanda {the habit of being}

my husband does because he's the only one that wears clothes that need ironing and then only if there is a big meeting or presentation. love your new cover but not enough to make me take up ironing ;-)

Chris

Sometimes I am "pressed" for time. Was that an intentional pun?
