I like the 1st one for seeming so plush and the 3rd one for the pattern. Happy knitting, those are going to be some loved babies!

Tracey

I love your homeschool books, they are amoung my favorites and I am a little sad that we are now passed them.
I like all the blanket patterns, but I am leaning toward the first one too.

Good luck deciding! I am sure whatever pattern you pick it will look beautiful! I agree with you on the Wednesdays coming up very quickly these days.

Mom

Ellen,

The yarn looks great! I like all the blanket patterns except the first one. The waffle one looks especially nice.

Jodi

How sweet that you're making preemie blankets. I hope they are both well. I'm trying to finish up some in-the-works projects before I start anything new, but temptation is knocking at my door.

One of my favorite quick baby blankie knits is similar to the purl bees--done on the diagonal. It's the old biased dishcloth pattern--knit x, yo, knit to end of the row--only you keep increasing until it's blanket size--then do the decreases. The little yo holes along the sides then can have a pretty ribbon run through (or not). I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be much appreciated!!!

I agree with your mom...the waffle one seems more about the baby and less about the blanket. Doesn't seem to be so cumbersome and with a preemie...well, all that extra blanket is too much. But that's just my opinion. What a beautiful gesture to be making blankets for these babies. Prayers go out to them for safe and healthy growing. Hugs...

My family really likes the D'Aularies book. My oldest is a big fan of the ancients. All of those blankets look so nice. I think the waffle may be the most useful, but I do love the others too.

Kristen

Hmmm...I'm loving the yarn over one....it looks a bit softer than the waffle one. But either one you choose will be beautiful and I know a blessing to this sweet little family who have already been through so much.

Meadow

How do you like the imitation writing book? Always searching for new writing material that the kids might actually like! My oldest is 9 is there an age recommended?
