I like the way the blanket is coming along! Still a fan of the red and white!

These blankets will be such a blessing to the little tykes! Love the red for something different...too much pink and blue in the world :) Thanks for sharing the post on the Habit of Being blog - so fun for me to see pictures of your much younger gang. Great advice, too....I need to remember much of this each day.

We read Black Ships Before Troy back in fall. My kids loved it! I started out by reading it and then found the audio version. My kids still thought my reading was better!:) That makes me happy that they like when I read to them. Enjoy the book and thanks for stopping by my blog.:)

Love your refashioning of the book character's wardrobe (or lack thereof!). Hope you find that the blanket starts flying by quickly!

Gorgeous stripey stripes!

haha, great picture. Dane looks like he was in a little mood. Is that taken at Mom's house?

Yes, Michael. Recognize the tree? And yes, he and his sister were...well, you know their 'history'.

Good luck on your blanket! I have knitting escapades similar to yours. Amanda is so sweet. I'll definitely check out your guest post.

What a pretty blanket. I love how the stripes are different widths.

I just wanted to say, I loved your words over at the habit of being. I think I'll have to print them out. Thank you!
