I had to laugh since I too learned that same lesson with an immersion blender! What a mess it can make and so very quickly too.xx

MaryBeth gave me a delightful morning chuckle when I envisioned the mess. We all have done the same thing 'once' in our lives. Mine was with tomatoes, also. And the older version of Moosewood is the best!! Hugs

Great minds must think alike! I just posted my gazpacho concoction! The Moosewood has a great recipe -- mine's just a spin-off of theirs! Yum.

yes, there is a bit of a learning curve with an immersion blender but after, you'll wonder how you did without one! and gazpacho.!


Yes! Cucumber soup....Another wonderful recipe. How about the tabouli??? I need to make a batch of that too. Is there anything bad in the Moosewood?


Jodi - haven't tried everything from there of course, but I would probably say no.


It was a lesson that had to be learned! Now you know, my dad bought me one years ago and I love it. I made split pea soup yesterday!
