Sounds yummy and I like the idea of less salt and more garlic. I love garlic in foods. This one is also going in my Recipe Holder. How did your picky one do with this?

He did not touch it!

my hubs loves kale and i may have to try this one. none of the rest of us have been brave enough to try it along with him. this looks like a good jumping off point!

We too eat kale over here. Although we love soups, I don't think I've ever used kale in any of them. I am sharing soups on my blog next month because I've been making so many of them. I also finally found a vegetable broth recipe that I love. Cooking at home allows such liberties and cutting out (salt) or putting in more of (garlic) and those are just a few of the reasons I love to cook. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I'm looking forward to more.

I had a chance many years ago to dine at Chez Panisse. Of course you know the food was divine.
