Our post office occasionally delivered mangled mail. I think it gets stuck in the sorting machines. I hope you get another copy. Looking forward to seeing your finished annabelle.

Have you tried knitting both sleeves on a bigger circular? I find that way works for me (kind of like 2 socks magic loop or on two circs). It makes you wonder what exactly went on at the post office.

i'd be upset if my copy looked like that :( as it is, mine still hasn't arrived...*taps foot impatiently*

Oh I am now wondering if my Taproot is sitting in my mailbox drenched from all the rain we have had recently. There was no one out and about to check the box yesterday and it is a fair ways to get to it!
I hope you get some knitting time in today. I have Annabel all ready to go,but am waiting until my daughter and her family move before I begin to give myself something special to do.

Ah, it's such a bummer to get torn up magazines. Especially the ones that are awesome!

Best wishes on your knitting. I found this sweater online that I would LOVE to knit: http://pinterest.com/pin/224265256414592662/

Too bad you aren't my neighbor so you could show me how! :)

Okay...torn magazines?!? No wonder the PO is having problems. Seriously, it's happened to me far too many times so what I've done is not only contact the PO but call to ask the magazine company to send a free copy to you because "this is what happened." It's like the dog ate my homework theme. I've been pleased with the responses..another magazine (free) and a bit of compassion. What's it going to hurt? If enough people do this, companies may cover the mags for shipping.(In recycled paper, of course) Also...be patient with yourself. You have a family to take care of, visiting parents, school stuff, etc., you will finish and I'm sure your sweater will be really nice. Hugs to you...

SO sorry about your magazine! That's always a bummer! Your sweater is lovely... I ladder when I use dpn's too. You'll get it!

What a shame about your copy of Taproot. I'm still eagerly anticipating the arrival of mine.
I cast on an Annabel cardi last year but only completed the shoulders before I snatched the circular needle for another project as I fell out of love with the yarn that I originally chose. Black was a very sensible choice.

Angela

Ah gorgeous knitting. The automated machines make me and many a postal person a bit grumpy. I hope you get another copy and I am hoping I get mine soon!

Kim

Sorry about your magazine, I would be a little bummed too. I am still waiting for my issue...it should be here soon, I hope.

Good luck with those sleeves.
