I suppose it's because I have too much to do in any given day I'm getting older that I find myself in this predicament: forgetfulness. If I don't write down a list in some shape or form, I'll forget. Then of course, there's the problem of remembering where I put that list...
Oh yes, there are post it notes and scraps of paper and four children and a husband to remind me. I am thankful for modern technology at my fingertips' disposal (okay, so I don't have an iphone or the like at the moment) but even then... the technological wonders cannot work on their own.
One area that I definitely need some reminders in is bills. Is it me or do the months seem to be getting shorter? When a new bill arrives, I think, "hmm...didn't I just pay that?" Or there are momentary pangs of panic when I think, "DID I pay that?"
So I created a silly 'calendar' that lists out when my bills are due. Something that I can post in a very conspicuous spot that will tell me at a glance when a monthly bill is due.
